  EEA nationals and BREXIT

Are you an EEA national?

EEA countries include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Although the UK has left the European Union, there is now a transition period which means that EEA nationals and their family members can continue to reside in the UK under the current EEA Regulations until 31 December 2020.

Those EEA nationals who wish to remain in the UK after 31 December 2020 should apply to the EU Settlement Scheme for pre-settled or settled status.
